In no other compact SUV do the rear passengers have as much headroom as in the ŠKODA Yeti – 1,027 millimetres. The boot capacity is at least 405 litres. Pushing all the rear seats forward increases the volume up to 510 litres, and taking all the rear seats out increases it to a fantastic 1,760 litres.

VarioFlex

You can flexibly change the capacity of the ŠKODA Yeti car boot, and at the same time due to the easily removable back seats you can enlarge the car into a size of a small van.

The VarioFlex system consists of three separate rear seats that can be independently manipulated. Side seats of the Yeti model can be lengthwise adjustable. After removal of the middle seat you can move the seats into the centre of the car, and by that create an above standard room for the two rear passengers. Backrests of all three seats can be folded all the way down to the seats. After that the entire seats can be folded in such manner that they cover up to the front seats (and attach to the head rests by small hooks). In this position the seats are also retractable.

The ample room available in the interior and luggage space is a major feature of ŠKODA cars. The Yeti is no exception, and is able to carry up to five people with ease. With interior width of 1437 mm and plenty of legroom on the rear seats, the car allows four adults to travel in comfort even on long journeys. The standard 405/510-litre luggage compartment volume can be expanded to an incredible 1760 litres with the rear seas removed.

Luggage space

The standard luggage compartment volume of 405-510 litres can be increased to 1,760 litres by removing the rear seats. The light, eyelets for fixing the cargo, luggage compartment tray and 12V socket are all part of standard equipment. Depending on the trim level, the luggage compartment can be fitted with more practical details: stowage boxes behind the rear wheel arches, folding hooks, a flexible pocket on the right side of the boot, a net restraint system, a removable LED torch in the boot.

Foldable front seat and false boot floor

If you need to carry longer items, you can fold down the backrest of the front passenger seat. Even the Yeti’s already very practical boot can be made even more practical. Using a false boot floor, you can horizontally divide it into two parts. The bottom level will give rise to a separate space for the storage of smaller items. The newly created floor level evens out the surface between the bottom of the luggage compartment and the folded-down rear seat backs.

Vehicle space overview

All the seats in the Yeti are pleasantly firm. The front seats have exaggerated side sculpting that reliably holds the driver and passenger in place when cornering. The outer rear seats are also distinctly anatomically moulded for maximum comfort of the two passengers. If necessary, however, enough space can be found in the back for three people.

Simply Clever storages

In the spirit of the “Simply Clever” motto, the Yeti provides many places for storing various sundry items. The centre console is equipped with two cup holders, which can also be used for storing smaller items. Practical pockets in the front doors can hold 1-litre bottles.

Depending on the trim level, the interior is or can be equipped with a sunglasses holder in the overhead console, or with a Jumbo Box with arm rest between the front seats. Further storage is available in a storage box in the upper part of the dashboard, covered with a lid from the Ambition trim level upwards.

The rear passengers can use door pockets, able to hold 0.5-litre bottles. Optionally, folding tables are available on the rear side of the front seats, along with other practical solutions. In the luggage compartment, there are boxes behind the wheel wells, folding hooks and other useful features.
